Day 4 of the Nantes GO Team and we got stuck into our first day of serious distribution – this meant going out in the morning and afternoon and covering about 15km. Thankfully though, we were able to enjoy the blessing of lovely sunny weather which made the work a lot easier! The team are now getting familiar with Nantes and the surrounding area and have settled in well with their host families.
After a busy day’s distribution, the whole team went to the Ball’s house for tea where Muriel had prepared a lovely meal. It was great being able to gather together as a team, get to know each other better and discuss the distribution we had done that day. After that, we had our second Bible study of the week on Titus 2 vs 14-17 and tackled the subject of God’s grace and how this should lead to discipline in our lives. There were many applications to take from this but in particular we thought about how God is so gracious in revealing himself to us and how we long to see that happening here amongst the people in Nantes. We then had a time of prayer where we prayed about the Bible study and also for God’s blessing on the rest of our work this week.
• Pray for all of the people who have received Reflexions so far – it contains God’s Word which is the most important thing which they could read so pray that they would grasp this and that they would have an interest to know more
• Thankful for a great day’s weather for distribution
• Unfortunately there is rain forecast for the rest of the week so pray that it wouldn’t under us too much and that the rain would stay away as much as possible!
